The U.S. Department of State leads American participation in international exhibitions, advancing our nation’s public diplomacy through collaboration, innovation, and cultural exchange.

Through its Expo Unit in the Office of the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources, the Department manages U.S. engagement with the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE), organizes U.S. participation at overseas Expos (World’s Fairs), and builds international support for U.S. bids to host future Expos.

Following the successful delivery of Expo 2025 Osaka, the United States looks ahead to continued engagement at Expo 2027 Belgrade and Expo 2030 Riyadh, where we will further share the story of American leadership, creativity, ingenuity, and partnership with the world. We hope you will join us!
