Special Performance Choreographed by J’Sun Howard, U.S.-Japan Friendship Commission Creative Fellow on September 27

J’Sun Howard is an award-winning Chicago-based dancemaker whose work explores social issues surrounding Blackness and the Black body. His dances cultivate space for generous, loving, and compassionate play between Black and Brown men. Currently, he is a U.S.-Japan Friendship Commission Creative Fellow through the National Endowment for the Arts. J’Sun’s specially choreographed piece will be performed on the USA Pavilion stage one time only on September 27.
